Principal's Message

Elgin community,

Thank you for helping to make the 2025-2026 a great success.

We helped to improve our attendance from the previous year. Our students made great progress and made memorable experiences. We honored a new batch of Comet Leaders at our May assembly. We also had a visit from Silly Safaris where all of our students observed and got to touch different types of animals. 

Thank you to our PTO for helping to support our students. We had many great fundraisers and events throughout the year. Our inflatable day was a great day for staff and students to have fun. 

Our students showed off their skills in a variety of areas. They excelled in the music program through concerts, 5th grade band and Cosmic Beat. 1st graders participated in a real life wax museum. 

We will have our Open House on Tuesday, August 18th from 5-7 and our first day of school will be on Thursday, August 20th. I hope everyone has a great summer with your families.
